Our 2020 Sassea x King Litter “The Shipmates”

We expect to have our next litter in Winter/Spring 2026.

Now accepting applications for future litters, please email us with any questions about our program. Our application is available below.

We raise our puppies under Puppy Culture protocols. Our goal is always to produce puppies that are environmentally sound, familiar with basic grooming, well socialized, and operant in clicker training. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the Puppy Culture program so that you can take a proactive role in shaping your puppy’s temperament and emotional responses.

We temperament test litters at 7 weeks, followed by a conformation evaluation at 8 weeks. Based on this information we will match puppies with appropriate homes from our list of applicants. Our puppies go home no earlier than 9 weeks of age, and come microchipped, dewormed, and given age appropriate vaccines. We follow the Dodd’s Protocol for vaccinations to ensure that your puppy is protected from canine diseases while preserving their young immune systems. Puppies are weaned to a raw, species-appropriate diet.

All of our breeding dogs are fully health tested to PWDCA requirements before they are bred. This includes OFA Hips/Elbows, CAER eyes, and genetic testing for Juvenile Dilated Cardiomyopathy (JDCM), Gangliosidosis (GM-1), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (prcd-PRA), Early-Onset PRA (EOPRA), Improper Coat (IC) Micropthalmia (MO) and CDDY/CDPA. All of these results are publicly available on OFA.org and we are always happy to share health information about our breeding dogs.

We encourage you to request health testing information from any breeder you are engaging with, and not to accept “vet checked” as an answer. As with any breed, there are genetic diseases carried within PWDs that are entirely avoidable through health testing. Save your family potential heartache by ensuring you are getting a puppy from health tested parents.
